The top three contenders in the on-going Ondo governorship election, Eyitayo Jegede of the state’s ruling PDP, Rotimi Akeredolu of Nigeria’s ruling APC and Olusola Oke of the AD, have all voted.

While Jegede voted at Polling Unit 009, Ward 2, Sacred Heart Primary School, Akeredolu voted at Unit 6 St. Luke’s CAC primary school, Prison quarters, Ajagbule Alaaye in Ward 5, Owo town, Ondo state, and Oke voted at polling unit 5, at Ilowo Ilaje ward 3.

Akeredolu casts his vote
However, speaking to newsmen, AD candidate Oke alleged that card readers have been preloaded with votes in some polling units in Ondo state.


Oke who mentioned 3 areas of the state where the card readers have been pre-loaded in Ondo.
He also has report that the trend is happening across the state.
“I have Alagbon and Ode Ogbo, Idi Ogba card readers preloaded. It’s appearing that some persons have manipulated this process.
“I have tried to reach the REC Mr Agbaje has not been successful,” he said.

Exactly 1,280,580 voters are expected to decide who the next governor of Ondo state will be.
